PC Trouble

I am having serious problems with my pc i could be inactive for a long time my monitor goes straight into sleep mode and nothing runs so i will be lucky if i can even have a look at forums.

It's been a week since I posted a blog and there has been a lot of work done. Websites, Resources, Creatures, Lore, and more on Valhalla's Gate: Story of Aiden.

Before posting a full out blog, here is a quick changelog I created as we progressed through the week.

There has been so much work done these last couple of weeks that I'm proud to announce the next Development Blog for VG. This blog contains new lore, a new team member, 001 Engine news, and more.

It's been some time since the last Blog update but here it is. This update contains work on a new game, removal of a few team members, updated forums, and new lore.

Valhalla's Gate, the starting point of a team and Stormblade Studios. Mid Febuary, 2008; Valhalla's Gate forums were created to put together a team and community of people who were interested in a 2d Orpg based on a Norse mythology era. Recently I have been thinking about games that we could make. I have 2 ideas that I think are suitable and will be good games. The first idea is a future based hack and slash that will be similar to the movie star ship troopers so the player will create a team and they are fighting bugs

My second idea would be a Viking based hack and slash with a party as well and your group is helping everyone try and prevent ragnorok.

There is still no visual updates to the game but a lot has been brainstormed and changed. The changes for VG was accompanied with The founding of Stormblade Studios. At first, Stormblade Studios was going to be a seperate project from Valhalla's Gate but I soon after decided that it would be good to combine the two for a number of reasons.

This is not an official update but I'd just like to inform all our active users that the coding for the programming has been organized and is ready to be hit upon. The lore has been at a stand by for me for a few days but I hope to get more done the coming weekend. The release for the Valhalla's Gate: Arena has been pushed back until we've got a stable version of our engine to use it on. Expect a large update coming soon on all the newest things that we have worked on this last week.

GAME UPDATES

- More development on the child system has been completed.

- Mercenaries will now be an NPC with specialized Ai that will kill any of the specified city inhabitants when hired. This system will not go live for a long way but hopefully we can get a demo if it out soon.

FORUM UPDATES

- Added welcome box to the forums. A welcome box can be seen by guests to inform them of the features they would get for registering.

- Edited the welcome box to show a better message.
